Carrying Forward National Spirit and the Construction of University Spirit

Abstract
According to the report to the 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China , carrying forward and cultivating national spirit must be regarded as a extremely important task of culture construction and included in national education. The university spirit, as an important content of culture construction of school, is unanimous with national spirit in essence. In the course of socialist modernization construction, national spirit is the major premise of the construction of university spirit; and the construction of university spirit is an important way of carrying forward and fostering national spirit. How to combine carrying forward national spirit and the construction of university spirit put forward new request for the higher education of our country.
