A statistical analysis of the papers attributed by Edition of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Journal of Shaanxi Normal University between 2003 and 2009 by the principle of document measurement and citation analysis reveals that,in addition to continuous concern with philosophy and social sciences all over the country,the journal has energetically developed distinct columns and successfully provided new views,new materials and new discoveries for disciplinary construction and development.The team of authors tends to be higher-educated,high-titled and younger.Since 2003,the total ratio of citation and influential elements show annual growth and the tendency of growth is energetic.The wave of annual loading-down curve assumes ascendance and the quantity of utility abroad continues to increase,indicating a steady expansion of social influence of the papers appearing in the journal.
