Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnostic of intracranial aneurysms with 64 slice spiral CT angiography(CTA).Methods Forty-one cases with intracranial aneurysms were examined with enhanced 64 slice spiral CT.and injected with contrast medium(iohexol,350 mgI/mL)100 mL through medial cubital vein with high pressure syringe at 3 mL/s velocity. Then the initial data were reconstructed with workstation, including volume rendering, curved planar reformation, multiplanar reformation, maximum intensity projection and shaded surface display.ResultsForty-seven aneurysms were detected in 41 cases.Conclusion64 slice spiral CTA is an safe,quick,non-invasive and effective method in diagnostic of intracranial aneurysms, and offer evidence for clinical treatment.
