Abstract

The author investigated 17 Ag deposits of which 5 are large medium size on basis of geology, geochemistry, regional geological setting, ore controlling conditions, wallrock alterations, ore types, metallogenic mechanism, ore formaion stages, metallogenic evolution recognizing three metallogenic series and 8 types of Ag ore deposit. Niujuanzi is a volcanic exhalation hot spring Ag deposit; Caijiaying, a exhalation hot water precipitation hydrothermal fluid overprint Pb, Zn, Ag deposit; Yinyeling, a stratabound hydrothermal fluid overprint Pb, Zn, Ag deposit. Based on the results metallogenic model and regional geohistory evolutional metallogenic model of the deposits are established and the ore searchging directions are pointed out.
