The pharmacokinetics of sinomenine gels in transdermal delivery

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To study the pharmacokinetics of sinomenine by transdermal delivery.METHODS The sinomenine was determined in plasma by high performance liquid chromatography.The rabbits was given sinomenine gels in 1%,2%,5%,respectively.The concentration was determined in various time,and the data was processed by 3P97,the pharmacokinetics parameters was calculated.RESULTS Sinomenine concentration was lower in gels than in tablets,but the peak time and half life was delayed.CONCLUSION Sinomenine gels has sustained release effects.
