Abstract
Objective To determine the contents of the heavy metals in 5 traditional Chinese medicines in 4 raw material bases of Guizhou Province and to provide more basis for the control of Chinese herbal medicines. Methods Atomic Absorption Spectrographic method was adopted. Results The contents of heavy metals Pb,Hg,As were under the prescriptive standard. The exceeding rate of Cd was the most serious, next was Cu.Conclusion This method is simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive. Therefore we must adopt the powerful measures to prevent raw material base form the heavy metal pollution.
