A Study of the Translation Techniques of Li Qingzhao's Shengshengman

Abstract
Li Qingzhao is regarded as the greatest woman poet in classical Chinese literature.Shengshengman,her masterpiece,reflects her complete hopelessness at her old age.In rendering it into English,attention should be paid to the rhyming schemes,the rhythm,the musical quality and the imagery of the poem,and the message it brings to the reader.
