Research on the Impact of Technological Progress on Agricultural Economic Growth in Gansu Province

On the basis of C-D production funtion,the paper sets up a total factor production function,and analyzed the impact of elements on agricultural growth of Gansu using the agricultural input-output time series in the period from 1978 to 2007 in Gansu.Then,it made a quantitative measurement and analysis on the agricultural ontribution rate of technological progress as well as the trends at different stages of development by extended application of solow complentary method.The results show that technological advances are the core power of Gansu agricultural growth,that biotechnology progress-oriented and applying agricultural machinery appropriately are the main direction of agricultural technogical progress,and that developping chracteristic of agricultural industrialization and optimizing the agricultural structure are the focus of agricultural development,which gave an empirical base for the path of modern agricultural development in Gansu and even West.
