Abstract
Islamic finance first appeared in the 1970s in the Arab region. The function of Islamic finance has gone beyond the basic function as banking credit intermediaries, and extends to more functions such as finance lease, equity investment, trust and investment, and joint ventures. Islamic banking services customers with non-interest, non-speculation, physical counterpart, and risk-sharing as the main characteristics of the products and financial services, which is in line with Islamic teachings. Islamic banking is the most developed in Islamic financial system, and it is important to explore the Islamic finance in China for further development.
