The Effect of Sucrose-Yield Promoter on Yield and Quality of Sugarcane Cultivars

Experiment of sucrose-yield promoter was conducted to introduced or self-bred sugarcane cultivars in Guangxi.The spray on sugarcane during the later growing period indicated that this agent has no effect on yield of tested cultivars but improving sucrose content.Otherwise it helps early ripening cultivars in inhibiting sugar degradation and decreasing the reducing sugar in the juice for better taste.And it is good for sugarcane plants to have the ability against cold.
