Abstract
The effect of solution treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of 7B04 aluminum alloy were studied by optical microscope, tensile test,X-ray diffraction phase analysis and refinement of lattice parameter of α(Al) matrix. The results show that the tensile strength of the alloy increases along with the increasing of solution temperature and solution time in the range of 410~470℃.The tensile strength of the alloy reduces gradually when solution temperature or solution time further increases. The optimum solution treatment process of the alloy is at 470℃ for 60 min.
