Abstract
By addressing the problems with carrying out static pressure pile-driving for prestressed concrete pipe in some construction sites, this article describes the application of bored pile post-grouting technology. In the proposed design, the construction and the field test of the bored pile post-grouting, quality evaluation results of the pile foundation and bearing capacity eigenvalues are obtained. The results show that under the equal conditions, for prestressed concrete pipe and bored cast-in-place pile, the use of the bored pile grouting techniques can greatly improve bearing capacity, reduce settlement, and save cost up to 10%, promising good economic returns.
