Abstract
In this paper,we establish the sealing assembly model of a natural gas ball-valve by Pro/E,whose nominal diameter is 150 mm and nominal pressure is 2.5 MPa.Based on axisymmetric principle,we import one quarter of the model to ANSYS software.Simulating valve seat with bilinear kinematic hardening material model and valve core with rigid-body material model, using area-area contact finite element analysis, based on the average sealing pressure which comes from theoretic formula,we calculate the actual distribution of the sealing pressure.
