Abstract

Huizhou residential buildings are the rarity of traditional Chinese construction art.Their style and artistic feature were formed in a specific historical period,natural geological environment and social cultural background.The symbolic meaning and abstract code system in traditional culture of the buildings have been combined with practical functions so that the special ancient residential buildings in Huizhou district are formed.
