Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of partial pulpotomy on young permanent incisors with complicated crown fracture.Methods Forty four cases of complicated crown fracture included 46 young permanent incisors were treated by partial pulpotomy and assessed clinically by followed up 1 to 6 years.Results One of the teeth had pulp necrosis one year after treatment resulted from desquamation of covered material.The treatment was successful in 45 teeth ( 97.81% ).Conclusion Partial pulpotomy was a successful and effective treatment for young permanent teeth with complicated crown fracture.
