Abstract
There is a growing line of literature concerning the impact of ownership structure on the corporate performance,but most of them are limited in the widely dispersed ownership structure in the Anlgo-American companies.As to the ownership concentration in Chinese listed companies,it is enlightening to view this situation in both academia and practice.We have a review of the literature in the terms of large shareholdings and state shareholdings,and then introduce the prior research on Chinese listed companies.
