Marx and Engels left a theoretical heritage on the emergence and demise of the proletarian democracy.Lenin put forward the Party-driven realization of the dictatorship of the proletariat and the proletarian party democracy,of strengthening the management capacity of national institutions,and of resisting against the bureaucracy.Lenin's theory reflected the proletariat's preliminary understanding of democracy in its practice.In contemporary China,the Chinese Communist Party has proposed the building of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics in order to safeguard the task of building a socialist harmonious society with democratic politics and to build a socialist country ruled by law and so on,which has enriched and developed the classic theories.
