Clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes distribution of 100 cases of AIDS

Abstract
Objective To explore the TCMsymptoms and syndromes distribution ofAIDS patients' in JilinGuan'ai hospital. Methods The surveymethod ofTCMclinical epidemiologywasused and unified clinical observation table and investigation methods were established.Statistical distributionsof symptoms and signswere recorded.Result The majorinfection route is mainly by blood in JilinGuanai hospital.Clinical symptoms and signs are ranked as the following according to the numberof cases:fatigue,palpitations,colds,skin itching and pain.Deficiency ofQi and blood is the most common syndrome in asymptomatic period.The first three syndromes are blood stasis due to Qi deficiency,deficiency of Qi and Ying,deficiency of spleen and kidney inAIDS period.Conclusion Qi and blood deficiency,Qi deficiency and blood stasis and toxin stasis are the most common syndromes,so the therapy of replenishing Qi,enriching blood and resolving stasis should be adopted.
