Poetic Charm Rise from a Struggling Life:A Review on Gao Shen's Poetic Creation

Gao Shen,a famous Hui poet,followed his farther to join the army and fought north and south on many fronts in his childhood,and loved to write poems to praise Revolution at his youth.Though he was in trouble, he never changed his loyalty.His poems reflected his deep thought of history,called for democracy warmly,en- hanced the National spirit and Chinese traditional soul,showed the revolutionary colors of a soldier poet and were full of awareness of unexpected adversity and care of underclass;during the process of seeking to poetic beauty,he inherited traditional merits,absorbed nutrition from external area,and made great contribution to the prosperity of modern Hui literature with full-bodied poetic ethnic feature and excellent literary output of many styles .
