Abstract

The effects of the ratio of Dendrobium candidum to water, extraction time, extraction temperature and extraction times on the extration were investigated to get the optimal extraction conditions of polysaccharides from protocorms of Dendrobium candidum by hot water. The results showed that the optimum extraction condition was as follows: The ratio of Dendrobium candidum to water 1∶60,extracting four times at 80℃ for 3h.In this condition, the extraction rate of polysaccharides was 9.17%.Among the four factors, extraction times was the most influential factor, the next was the extraction time. The effects of the ratio of Dendrobium candidum to water and the extraction temperature were relatively less. The effect of the extraction times on the extraction rate was significant, while that of other factors were not significant.
