Abstract
Based on the independent tourists' survey and interview of the information needs, this paper statistically analyzes the tourists' demands for information of destination, the relationship between tourists' social attributes and their demands, and the relationship between tourists' earnings and their demands. The results have showed that independent tourists' demand of destination information is a hierarchy system. Meanwhile, tourists have different demands for information of destination because of different social attributes and earnings. And most websites can't meet the tourism information needs of independent tourists.
