Terahertz wave has wide bandwidth,high transmission rate,good direction,good security and so on. In recent years,a lot of mission for astrophysics,planetary science,and Earth science speed the development of the terahertz sensors,sources,and systems. The paper introduce and analyze the key technology and the new research production in terahertz communication. At the same time,there are some prospect for terahertz technology development.
