Abstract
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of two-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) in the tumor thrombosis in portal vein. Methods The data of 39 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis in portal vein were retrospectively analyzed.B-mode ultrasound to observe the portal vein diameter, tumor thrombosi size, shape and internal echo,CDFI to survy inside and peripheral blood flows. Results The frequent sites were main portal vein, left portal vein branch, right portal vein branch.Portal vein diameter widen, the portal vein partly or completely blockaged by tumor thrombosis, the blood flow was thinner or filling defect in tumor thrombosis attachmen evaluated by CDFI.Conclusions Two-dimensional ultrasound combined with CDFI is safe, convenient and reliable in the diagnosis of the tumor thrombosis in portal vein and regard as one of the preferred method.
