Abstract
The closed relation between vehicle speed and traffic safety is proved,excessive speed or big speed difference would take bad effects on road traffic safety.Using speed-controlling measurements in risk road section,could help drivers predict and identify road alignment conditions and road side environmental situations,sequentially,make a correct decision of driving behaviour.So the standard of speed limit or control is discussed,the effects and conditions of various road speed-controlling facilities is comparatively analyzed,and then the general design method of road speed-controlling facilities is given.
