Abstract
In order to study the temperature distribution and the combustion efficiency of pulverized coal in furnace,this paper uses the general coal properties combustion model which starts from the char reaction kinetics,and a one-dimensional macroscopic model along the height of furnace is established.Through the reasonable simplification of volatiles and char combustion of pulverized coal,considering pulverized coal particle combustion in furnace, with coal quality parameters as the calculation parameters and the coal particle density model, the combustion rate of different diameters pulverized coal particles are calculated in the furnace atmosphere and the combustion of the whole particle group is obtained.According to an example of lignite boiler in the power plant,the results calculated by this model of pulverized coal combustion rate and temperature of the furnace are compared with the existing literature data.The effects of the main operation parameters of the boiler on combustion rate and temperature distribution in the furnace are also analyzed.
