Abstract
The basic principle for electric smelting of titaniferous slag is introduced and the behaviors of titanium element in DC furnace are analyzed.Comparing the analyzed conclusions with experimental results obtained from the smelting of Yunnan ilmenite in a 30MW DC airtight furnace,it has been found that the slag is composed of titanium dioxide and titanium sesquioxide which accounts for 50% of the slag respectively;no titanium carbide is in the slag;and tiny titanium oxide is reduced as titanium metal into iron phase.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
