Evaluation Mode of Prescribing Drugs and Application Practice in Our Hospital

Objective To establish and perfect the evaluation system of prescription drugs,analyze regularly the prescriptions,improve the quality of prescriptions,reduce the irrationality in drug administration,and hope to solve the existed problem between the drug administration and relevant social and economic phenomenon.Methods By establishing the special management organization and effective division of labor,we perfected the related work system and process,established the system of clinical pharmacist and three-level quality control network,and built the systematic prescription evaluation system.Results After adopting the prescription evaluation system,the ratio in costs of drugs and weight of drugs in outpatients were 43.00% and 49.50%,respectively;the average costs of outpatient service was 86 RMB,those indexes were more reasonable as compared with those before establishing the evaluation system of prescription drugs.Conclusion The evaluation system of prescription drugs can improve the drug administration,reduce the ratio in costs of drugs and weight of drugs in outpatients service,protect the legitimate rights and interests of patients and the safety in the clinical medication.This should be beneficial in improving doctor-patient relationship and constructing a harmonious society.
