Abstract

The mechanism of preparation of UF resin is studied in this paper, based on which, we have designed a new method for preparing urea-formaldehyde resin by adding urea in four protions and formaldehyde in two portions. The urea-formaldehyde resin produced by this method is low free formaldehyde content and low formaldehyde emission meeting the standards of GB18580-2001.
