Abstract
Objective To investigate the prevalence rates,relevance of depression and anxiety in patients with diabetes.Methods The 146 cases with diabetes(study group)and 98 normal subjects(control group)were investigated and analyzed by HAMA and HAMD.Results ①The prevalence rate of depression and anxiety in study group was 41.1%,versus 10.2% of the control group;②Depression and anxiety states was found to be correlated with the followings:female,BMI,HbA1c,more complications and treatment used insulin,etc.Conclusion The prevalence rates of depression and anxiety in diabetic patients are higher than that in normal subjects;depression and anxiety states have negative influence on the advancement and prognoses of diabetes mellitus.
