Abstract
In an extraventricular pot experiment,Fagopyrum dibotry seedlings were planted under various light intensities,and their biomass was determined after 75 d and their physiological indexes were determined after15 d,30 d,45 d,60 d and 75 d.Biomass per plant was significantly higher in the treatment of 50.32% sunshine than in other treatments.In weak light treatments(20.85 and 6.98% sunshine),biomass accumulation decreased,and the seedlings allotted more biomass to the leaf,root and petiole and less biomass to the main stem and branches to adapt to the weak light environment.With the decrease in light intensity,contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,chlorophyll a+b,soluble protein and proline of the seedlings increased and chlorophyll a/b and soluble sugar content decreased.In the 4 different treatments,the effects of light intensity on chlorophyll and proline were significant statistically.In cultivation of F.dibotrys,proper shading at the seedling stage with a relative light intensity of 50% will be beneficial to the growth of the plants.
