Vegetation Survey and Study on the Flora of Shizi Mountain

Shizi Mountain is located in the Jinjiang District of Chengdu,which has a plenty of plant species belonging to 64 families,122 genera and 132 species.There are 9 plant species in the largest family Leguminosae,and more than 5 species in the families Compositae,Rosaceae,Gramineae and Oleaceae.The flora had 21 geographical components types,and 22.1% of them were of the pantropic type,21.3% of them were of the north temperate type.Based on the epigenesist and functions of vegetation,the role of the dominant species and the classification system of the urban vegetation,the vegetation in Shizi Mountain was divided into 3 vegetation classes,9 vegetation groups and 24 vegetation types for the first time,and the components,structure and functions of 3 vegetation classes were analyzed.
