Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation of residual amniotic fluid volume of premature rupture of membranes and outcome of pregnancy.Methods A retrospective analysis of 149 cases with premature rupture of membranes in our hospital from 2009 to 2011 years was operated,detected amniotic fluid index(AFI),the results were divided into AFI5.0cm group(n=82) and AFI≤5.0cm group(n=82),observed maternal outcomes of delivery of two groups.Results Cases in AFI5.0cm group,maternal childbirth rate was significantly higher than that in AFI≤5.0cm group,and the rate of vaginal delivery and cesarean section rate was significantly lower than that in AFI≤5.0cm group,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P0.05).In AFI5.0cm Group maternal contamination of amniotic fluid and neonatal asphyxia rate of patients were 7.3% and 1.2%,were lower than that in AFI≤5.0cm group(26.9% and 17.9%),the difference between groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Residual amniotic fluid volume of premature rupture of membranes pose a serious threat to maternal and child safety,so testing residual amniotic fluid volume to pregnant women has important significance for determining the mode of delivery and evaluating maternal prognosis.
