Abstract
The influence of exogenous nitric oxide donor,SNP at concentrations of 0.1,0.5 and 1.0 mmol/L on antioxidant capability in linseed under 0.1 mmol/L CdCl2 stress was studied through 120 h of treatment. The results indicated that the activities of antioxidant enzymes were increased, such as superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD) and catalase(CAT),which were consistent with the up-regulation of the content of proline, and were consistent with the down-regulation of O·-2 production speed, the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) and H2O2 in linseed seedling leaves compared with CdCl2 stress. The protective ability of concentration of 0.1 mmol/L was significantly better than that of 1.0 mmol/L.
