Application of data preprocessing in IT infrastructure monitoring

Data quality is the key component of a successful data mining,while data preprocessing,as the first step of data mining process,is there to assure the quality of data.This is an emerging research,whose importance is more and more apparent.Starting from the concept of data quality,the architecture of data preprocessing and its methodology are explained.Then,according to the attributes of data set in IT infrastructure monitoring system,some typical applications of data preprocessing in this system are explored.
