Abstract
Aim To estimate the lead levels in blood of children in Shenzhen and provide scientific basis for formulationg effective intervention measures.Methods BH2100 atomic absorption spectrometer was used to detect the lead levels in venous blood of 13 851 preschool children aged 0~6years.Results The mean lead level in venous blood was 47.87μg/L,and the mean incidence of lead poisoning was 2.642%.Although the lead levels in venous blood Lead were increased with age,there were no statistical differences in lead poisoning among different age group and genders(P0.05).Conclusion The lead levels in venous blood of children in Shenzhen were lower,but control of blood lead should still be strengthened.
