Effect of tonifying qi-nourishing yin-clearing heat-activating blood therapy for early diabetic nephropathy and its influence on blood rheology

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tonifying Qi-Nourishing Yin-Clearing Heat-Activating Blood Therapy on the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy( DN). Methods 98 cases of DN? were randomly divided into study group with 52 cases and the control group with 46 cases. The two groups were treated by conventional treatment according to the clinical guidelines of Western Medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of early diabetic nephropathy. The study group was added Tangshen No. 1 which has the effect of tonifying qi,nourishing yin,clearing heat and activating blood. After the clinical treatment for 3 months,the clinical efficacy,blood glucose control,renal function and hemorheology were compared. Results The total effectiveness of study group was 98. 07%,which was significantly higher than 89. 13% in the control group( P 0. 05). The,FPG,2 h PG,Hb A1 c,24 h UAER,Um Alb,SCr of two groups after treatment were significantly improved. The differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). After24 h treatment,the levels of UAER,Um Alb,SCr of study group were statistically significant compared with those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). After treatment,blood rheology indexes of the study group were significantly improved than pre-treatment,which were significantly better than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of Tonifying QiNourishing Yin-Clearing Heat-Activating Blood Therapy for early DN is accurate. With protective effect on kidney,it can prevent the early progression of DN.
