Abstract
The critical temperature employs as failure criteria for fire resistance design.Supposing the critical temperature is equal to the maximum temperature of roof steel structure,the total energy released by a fire causes the maximum temperature can be regarded as the limit fire power.However,if the fire power is lower than the limit fire power at a given height of large space,the steel roof structure can be without protection.
