Abstract

The effect of oligosaccharins on tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) in Nicotiana glutinosa was studied, and its effect on defensive enzymes was tested. The preventing effect on TMV disease was 58.5% when oligosaccharins was applied 24 h after the inoculation of TMV. The treating effect on TMV disease by oligosaccharins was 43.6%. TMV was deactivated by oligosaccharins at a rate of 11.83%. Meanwhile, the activity of PAL, POD, SOD of tobacco K326 leaves was increased with various degrees after the treatment of oligosaccharins. It can prove that Jingtuling can induce the resistance of tobacco to TMV, thereby it can strengthen the immunity of tobacco.
