Developing Socialist Democracy:the Fundamental Goal of Political Restructuring

It was during the past 30 years of reform and opening up that the political system of China had significant transformation,and the socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics significantly progressed.The reason that such a huge success in China's political restructuring was achieved lies in China's political restructuring has been adhering to the organic unity of the party's leadership,peoples as masters and ruling the country by law,and has been upholding and improving constantly the system of people's congress,the system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the CPC,the system of regional ethnic autonomy,as well as the system of people's self-governance at the primary level.Therefore,aiming at developing socialist democracy we must continue to reform and improve the system of people's congresses,the system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the CPC and other basic political system,and comprehensively implement the rule of law as a fundamental principle.
