Application of Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment in Oral English Teaching

This paper explains the meaning of formative assessment and summative assessment by analyzing the assessment contents,methods,criteria,subjects and purposes;it also discusses how to implement the two assessment models,and how to combine them together in oral English teaching for students' achievement assessment.
