On Civic Culture Under Horizon of Political Modernization

The relationship between the civic culture and the political modernization is discussed.It is pointed out that,the development of political modernization needs to foster the suit civic culture.As lack of civic-mindedness in China,a responsibility faced is to build a civic culture with Chinese characteristics,and the key point is the shift from the traditional civic culture to the modern civic culture.To this end,the conditions need to be provided from the socialist market economy,the democratic political system,and the quality of citizens,etc.
