Analysis of Mental Health Conditions in 130 High Grade Medical College Students

Objective To find out the mental health status of high grade medical college students.Methods 130 students were investigated by using SCL 90 questionnaire.Results 1.Somatic factor was significantly higher than that of population based samples. 2.There was no significant difference between male and female students. 3.There existed dominant difference in scores of some factors,such as somatic,obsessive compulsive,depressive,phobic anxious and psychotic factors between local students and students coming from other provinces. 4.The difference between the achievements of students and mental problem had no significant correlation.Conclusion Some evidences showed that there might be more psychological problems among high grade medical college students,especially among students coming from other provinces.Psychological archive of medical students should be collected.
