Abstract
Objective: Results of radiofrequency catheter ablation of 60 patients with ventricular tachycardia without structural heart disease were analyzed in order to improve the rate of success and decrease complications. Methods:To review the 60 patients with ventricular tachycardia who were admitted into hospital from Apr 1999 to May 2004 by mapping of electrophysiology and pacemaker.Results:52 cases of ventricular tachycardia were ablated successful in the first attempt, rate of success was 92.8%, ILVT was 90.9%, RVOT was 95.7%.Conclusions:Radiofrepuency catheter ablation is a safe and effective method for the therapy of ventricular tachycardia in patients without structural heart disease.
