Abstract
UNIFAC Group Contribution Method is one of the most extensive models for applications to calculate the component activity coefficient. This text introduces the progress of research, analyzes the applications and limits of UNIFAC model in vapor-liquid equilibrium(solubility of gases, vapor pressure of pure component, typical predic-tion of vapor liquid equilibrium),liquid-liquid equilibrium(surface tension of fluid mixture, system of extraction and rectification, typical prediction of liquid-liquid equilibrium),solid-liquid equilibrium(equilibrium of isomer, solubility of solid)and other systems. And to resolve these questions,it also makes a prospect of the trend and spe-cific contents for the study of UNIFAC Group Contribution Method.
