Abstract
The eutrophication of 8 spare water resources in the main urban area of Chongqing was studied. The results showed that the values of CODMn,TN,TP of the drinking water resources were 3.93-8.13,0.778-2.86,0.039-0.067 mg/L respectively. The concentrations of TN and TP in these spare resources were up to eutrophic level.Concentration of TN and TP in sediment ranged from 0.940-1.898,486.6-691.0 mg/kg respectively. The eutrophic state of drinking water resources was evaluated by the comprehensive nutritive index.7 reservoirs weres eutropher and only 1 reservoir was mesotropher.
