Abstract

Stomphastis thraustica Meyrick was an important pest insect attacking Jatropha curcas.Field experiment against Stomphastis thraustica with Avermectin 2% EC,cyhalothrin 25% EC and methidathion 40% EC was conducted.The result indicated that Avermectins 2% EC at the concentration of 1 000 times was the most effective with a mortality of 89% and methidathion 40% EC was the second effective pesticide.
