Abstract
Rumen anaerobic fungi plays important roles in lignocellulose degradation. The enzyme secreted by rumen anaerobic fungi not only can degrade the lignocellulose containing microcrystalline cellulose, but also it can assemble the cellulosome which has an effective catalytic activity. This review described some important aspects of rumen anaerobic fungi, including the role and system of the lignocellulose degradation and its cellulosome.
