Abstract
This paper introduces the performances of commercial simulating CAD system for textile yarn. The methods of constructing the mathematical model and operation technique for configuration simulation of spun yarn and fancy yarn are reviewed. And tacking the double twisted thread composed with 5×2 filaments as an example, the paper focuses on describing the mathematical model and method for the simulation of twisted filament thread and comparing the threads' simulated diagram with their actual images.
