Abstract
Objective To find the antioxidant ingredients from Stellera chamaejasme L. Methods The roots of Stellera chamaejasme L. were repeatedly separated by silica gel column chromatography. Results Seven compounds were identified as umbelliferone(1),scopoletin(2),4–octadecyloxy–allylbenzene(3),4′,5,7–trihydroxy–flavanone(4),chamaejasmine(5),α–turpentine(6) and β–sitosterol(7). Conclusion Compound 6 was isolated from Stellera chamaejasme L. roots for the first time.
