Artistic Characteristics of Bird Images in Tao Yuanming's Poetry

Poetry images have intensive personal characteristics and can embody a poet's style most.Among the existing 122 poems of Tao Yuanming,there are up to 38 poems relating to birds,from which we can see that birds are the very important images in Yao Yuanming's poems.Bird images in Tao Yuanming's poems inherited the technique of metaphor of traditional poems,and meanwhile formed its own vivid artistic characteristics.Bird images in Yao Yuanming's poems had special characteristics,exerted the full media effect on transferring emotions and ideas,and got to the ambit of combination between substance and ego.His language was plain and natural.
